Poison Ivy by VerticalDubai Poison Ivy by VerticalDubai
Dubai Marina bathed in fog as seen from the 85th floor of Princess Tower. A bit of a gloomy mood in this one, because I was watching Wall-E when I developed this image in Lightroom

reminds me a lot of Spec Ops The Line (which was set in post apocalyptic Dubai)
Nice shot btw

Dubai has to have one of the most beautiful skylines in the world, and you capture it so epically. Great work, as always! :)

Ahh Wall-E! One of my favourite films. I like it because it takes its own time to tell the story.

Seriously a delight. And while I love your city images, this one is different and gives me an apocalyptic feel.

It's interesting that you mention Wall-E (the cartoon film), because the emotional setting in the beginning of the video was very, very depressing and your photo here shows residual post emotions from the film. I seriously hope our distant future never ends up like that in the movie. The human race is an incredibly smart species but we let material things cloud our judgement and this results in poor decision making. Though sometimes our spirits pull us out of the brink of self-destruction, I sometimes wonder... are we a species worth saving?

I will not discuss my beliefs or opinions further from the questionable statement I made. Just some food for thought.

Let me guess... fog = pollution, why this kind of perspective being so identical nowadays?

Ahh, a little over critical... did you even read VerticalDubai's description? Do that now, then maybe you can understand our shared consciousness.
